Deaf Fest 2011

Wow! The Deaf Fest 2011 was a huge success! When I first heard about the upcoming event held on campus at the Mississippi School for the Deaf, I decided to go as the photojournalist for the day to brush up my skills. I am so thankful that I went. Regardless of the sunburn, the weather was perfect! If Deaf Fest coordinator contacted me to be the photographer, it would have cost them thousand of dollars for spending 14 hours at the entire events minus the movie. Unfortunately, I did this as a volunteer for my own benefits at this time. This was my first time to be a photojournalist for a community event. I quite enjoyed it.

Below are the few photos out of 400. The rest of the photos can be found at the [photo gallery] soon where you can order prints. (I will provide the link soon.) I’m looking forward for the next Deaf Fest in couple of years. Don’t forget to leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Thanks! – Jason
